GOSPEL ON THE GRASS, OCTOBER 22, 2011
We will hold our 12th annual popular “Gospel on the Grass” singing and country picnic on Saturday, October 22, 2011. The old fashioned Gospel Singing by several popular local groups will be accompanied by free hot dogs and chips. A different gospel singing group will be featured every 45 minutes from 11:00 am to 3:00 P.M. The singing will include Southern Gospel, Bluegrass, Praise and Worship and traditional Christian music. There will be face painting, historical tours, candy apples and children’s games. The best part is that all activities are free! However, this year we have added a yard sale and a bake sale to the list of things to do. Hours for the sales will be 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
INSTRUMENTS OF FAITH, NOVEMBER 6, 2011
Campbellton UMC welcomes, for the first time, Instruments of Faith, from Belleville, IL. Tere Ayers will also be appearing. A love offering will be received for the quartet.
